No-claim policy
If no claim filed for the bicycle covered by this policy for 12 months, there will be a discount of 5% for the next 12 months. This apply for every 12 following months without filing a claim, to a maximum of 30% discount. (does not apply for multiple year contracts)

How it works
Get quote from preferred bicycle shop
Take the bicycle to the preferred bicycle shop, Let the expert provide a detailed estimate about the broken or malfunctioning component including the estimate labor cost of the repair or installation plus tax. In order to process a claim as soon as possible, this has to be written or printed estimate that clearly includes the bicycle shop information including the name of the person who created the estimate.
Upload estimate
Go to "File a claim". Follow instructions and upload the written estimate where it asked to do so. Once the flied claim is received, Bikeshieldd.bike will review the claim as soon as possible. Our team will take a detailed look at the estimate and provide an approval within 48 hours.
Get the bicycle repaired
At the moment approval comes in, go ahead and have the bicycle repaired. Once the repair is done, the bicycle shop has to provide a detailed final bill including the labor charge and tax..
It might be possible that there is an additional charge due to unforeseen circumstances. If this is within 10% of the original estimate, there is no need to contact Bikeshield.bike for additional approval.
Upload final receipt
Now the bicycle is repaired, you as customer has to pay for this repair and the bicycle shop has to provide a detailed final receipt. This receipt needs to be uploaded and added to the claim. Our team will overview this final receipt and if approved, immediately reimburse you for this repair.
